ARC Raidin’

I played ARC Raiders for the first time tonight. Neat game! Played flawlessly out of the gate for me — which is somewhat unexpected for PC games these days, I feel — and the out-of-the-box graphics settings were perfect.¹ The friend who got me into it plays on an Xbox and the crossplay is also flawless. Another nice surprise: having crossplay for Xbox, Playstation and PC in a PvP shooter like that!

The game feels like Tarkov Light, or maybe a better The Cycle. Nice world, too. Reminds me a lot of Simon Stålenhag’s work, which I adore.
