→ Inside CIG: Siege of Orison, Star Citizen (YouTube)
This video strikes me as funny on so many levels. The simultaneous visual polish and technical / managerial incompetence on display is quite amazing. Chris Roberts and his guys actually seem to think they have invented instancing, which is a technology that has been inherent to the very concept of an MMO from the start. It has been around since at least 1996. Also funny: Being proud of your game having no load screens when you’ve basically just replaced them with the player being stuck in an elevator for the same amount of time.
